Holiday in Melaka

Last 28/12/2008, my family and Mak Ngah Family had a short holiday to Melaka. I do not rememberd when was the last time I been to Melaka....I think it is more then 10 years. Every time I back to Johor, just passed Melaka through North South Highway...

We have a difficulty to get one hotel in Melaka. In first instance, we thought to stay put in A Famosa Resort, Melaka..unfortunately none room is available.. Kak Eida have contacted many hotels and most were fully booked... After half day look for the hotel..finally we end up at Avillion, Melaka and the location of that hotel is along Jalan Hang Tuah..

Avillion Hotel is **** hotel. We live in separate room and my room was the smallest but still good and cost only RM215-00 only. To locate the hotel we had made many phone calls and the road to the Hotel from Ayer Keroh was very congested. In addition to that, I did not like the traffic light system in Melaka... to long sometime it's take more then 90 seconds for the light to turn green...

On the first days nothing much has been done just let Zoey and Ryan had fun at swimming pool. and at night we went to Umbai, Melaka for seafood dinner. It is quite difficult to get Umbai since the signage system in Melaka quite poor and we only reached Umbai about 8.45 pm. Wow...... we took sometimes to get table and finaly we got one after nearly one hour waiting. We had seafood dinner ...ie...Ikan Cencaru and Kembung bakar...kupang masak sambal [best giler..rasa tak cukup] boil kerang, Udang masak 3 rasa, sotong masak goreng tepung and masak sambal, nasi lemak bungkus and etc...

The following day we had a River Cruise along Sg Melaka..It is quite fun and cost only RM5 for adult and RM2.00 for children......We thought to have Ikan Asam Pedas at Bandar Hilir and due to traffic jam.. we cancelled and finally we had lunch at opposite side of Tun Fatimah Stadium..Nasi Ayam and Rojak was not bad.... and Pak Ngah and the group had thier lunch near to Aji's UTEM Hostel..Ayer Keroh..
