Nostalgia.... about Muar

Snippets

My childhood was in Muar is quite interesting...I have grown up with Muar food, for us Muarian..our Mee Bandung, Rojak Petis Tanjug Emas, Nasi Berani..we believe is still one of the best in Muar perhaps in the world....

Apart from that we could eat satay, mee rebus and soto as one of the menu for breakfast..on top that we could have Asam Pedas specially at Jalan Junid, Parit Jawa and of course at Gerai at Tanjung Emas, Muar..fulamaak...eat..eat..eat.

if you are melancholic type of person you could enjoy a sun set at Tanjung Emas while riding a bot enjoying the panoramic view of Muar Bridge and 2 Mosque along Muar River...

For those likes Ikan Bakar you could eat at Sabak Aur oor across Muar River...Umbai Melaka..fulamamk..wonderful and really food haven...

Those looking for Muar cofee please look at coffee brand Chai Kee 434..and the bread and kaya is wonderful.....

Tropical fruit is really haven in Muar....durian, manggis, duku, rambutan wow...and on the way back please look for kupang [green muscle]..and you could mix in your spaghetti for marinara or seafood spaghetti....

Even currently ....Johor food is mushrooming..without going to Muar you could get in Klang Valley...but Muar remain the original...

Balik Muar-Makan Durian...

My son Zoey really have fun be a Kampung Boy....at least he knew more about tropical fruits..Pak Joy is helping him and tough him how to plough manggosteen..

Wow.....a lot of manggosteen..but this is not collected ny Zoey ....Zoey is only helping..ha..ha..

Any one here know about this tree....."pokok tengek burung" ini adalah ulam daun-daunan favourite kami sekeluarga...this picture was taken at Mak Long house..

Buah duku masih putik....duku is one of speciallity of Muar..other then durian and manggis..

Wow..dua hero enjoy giler..dengan galah nak petik manggis atau rambutan..?

Banyaknya rambutan sampai ke tanah melayutnya....wow.....lebih buah dari daun....

Alamak..Kak Aji tu pandai ke petik rambutan..pandai makan je kut.....

Rambutan..rambutan..kenapa nama mu rambutan kenapa tak dinamakan buah yg berambut..sound erotic kot...

Durain yg bersaiz besar ni tak boleh pakai..keras lagi.....
